Checked before loading
A meal break start outside the shift, or paid rest break minutes longer than the shift. The row is refused with a row-numbered error before the roster loads.
Higher duties hours longer than the shift itself. The row is refused with a row-numbered error before the roster loads.
Overnight stay hours over 24, or overlapping the shift on the same row. The row is refused with a row-numbered error before the roster loads.
Flags that do not fit the row type. For example rostered day off worked or split shift on a leave row: a warning names the flags and they are ignored.
Public holiday flags. A national public holiday date left unticked gets a reminder. A tick on a date that is not a national public holiday makes the load screen ask “Is this a local holiday?” before the roster is replaced.
Times entered on a leave row. A warning names them and they are ignored.
Formula cells in an Excel file. A warning names the cells; the value last saved in the workbook is used and formulas are not recalculated.
